As Tahoe locals, we are just barely crawling out of our snow caves, taking the plywood off the windows, and squinting at the bright sunshine after what seems like an endless and relentless winter. There are still snow banks in my front yard that are higher than the truck, and skiing is still an option, however a little known secret is that Lake Tahoe is absolutely glassy and gorgeous. And nobody is out there, Just dont fall in! Lake Tahoe shoulder seasons are the bomb. Happy Spring!

School is not yet out, but the temperature is finally rising and feels hot! It has been a long, cold winter. It is nice to see the warm sunshine, and nice to tranistion into the next season's sport- mountain biking! I learned a new term this spring- "Fishmas Eve". How funny is that? It is the night before the fishing season begins, and many an angler views it with as much anticipation as Santa's arrival. My son still loves Santa, and he loves to fish, so both days were met with anticiption. Fishing season is officially on! Happy Earth Day, Tahoe!
